A Screed Rail pour provides the accuracy of a laser pour with the versatility and cost efficiency of the hand lay method as it uses no overly expensive machinery.

A Concrete Screed Rail lay system involves the laying of rail guides that have been set and configured as guide points for the final floating of the concrete.

Screed Rail Lay Concreting can be used anywhere

Screed Rails can be installed on virtually any pour, and now even on metal decking using the ACRADECK system. The Concrete Screed Rail Lay system is used where a high accuracy floor is required, but where complex reinforcement or access restrictions will not allow a laser screed pour.

We use Screed Rails on a high percentage of jobs, for both indoor and outdoor projects.

Concrete Screed Rail Lay Installation

Using the Acra Screed systems we can quickly install screed rails to 1mm tolerance.

  1. Lay the formwork as usual
  2. Install Screed Rail supports under the reinforcement
  3. Install reinforcement as usual
  4. Install screed supports & rails using patented ACRA screed adjuster tools & methods
  5. Pour the concrete and regulate the level with rakes
  6. Level the top of the concrete with aluminium straight edges, using the screed rails as a guide
